There are two types of bollards:JIS-F2001(JIS, 1995) and DIN- 82607 (DIN, 2001) types frequently used. While shipbuilders have both JIS-F2001 and DIN-82607 type bollards as shipyard standards,the JIS-F2001 type bollard had been dominantly used in most shipyards until 2000.Because the DIN-82607 type bollard is simpler and lighter for the same SWL capacities,it is currently preferred.
